After the presentation of more than 328 projects of an innovative nature from companies from all over Europe to the first call of the SMALL SCALE INNOVATION FUNDS of the CINEA, finally only 32 projects have been selected, among which is the HYVALUE GASTEIZ project for the recovery of urban waste, which has been awarded an amount of € 4,458 MM basis both on its technological innovation in the treatment of urban waste both on its waste recovery into hydrogen, an also basis on its easy replicable industrial application, the efficiency obtained in productivity and the easy way of industrial scaling of the technology developed by NOVARGI and IET ECOLOGY .
